Saturday September 28th, 2013, my Mom and best friend Jann attended the 7th annual Ghoultide Gathering in Chelsea, Michigan. Jann and I had attended the first two shows but haven’t been back until now. This show is chock full of amazing works of art…..all Halloween art! If you ever get a chance to attend, it is worth the drive.

I love everyone’s unique art but I must say one of my favorites was Arbutus Hunter. I found her work on the internet about a year ago and have admired her spun cotton ornaments ever since. I must tell you, though, photos just don’t do her work justice. I was in awe of her amazing work. The ornaments are only 2-3″ tall! They look much larger on the internet. Fun to meet her and finally see her work up close.

I spoke with many vendors at the show about doing an interview for the Gather Dream Create Inner Circle and they all sounded interested. Many of the vendors were busy and I didn’t get to speak with them in person, but I have their information and will be contacting them as well.
